HOW IT WORKS
MICROGRANT STRUCTURE
MBXax microgrants give MBXax graduate founders access to funding for projects that will help them start or grow their business. The microgrants are awarded as a 50/50 matching grant with service providers and business professionals,
MBXax MICROGRANT aPPLICATIONS
Applications are open to graduates of MBXax programs, including the Ent Dev and Vent Dev courses, the Spark program, and 1:1 acceleration assistance. Courses must be fully completed before applications will be considered.
MBXAX MICROGRANT PROJECTS
Please note, these grants are not issued as cash. The MatchBOX team and boards will work to identify an expert, vendor, or partner for a project (development, prototyping, etc). Projects that will be considered are estimated to cost, to completion, $5,000 or less. In the past, funded projects have included building a prototype for a physical product, engagement with a marketing expert to develop a product launch plan, website development, manufacturing development, app development, and packaging design.

Application CYCLE
Applications can be submitted at any time but will be considered and approved on an internal schedule (roughly quarterly). Approved applications are contingent on secured service provider partners.
