We recommend trying a wireless connection first for the easiest setup with no cables needed.
Using Apple TV (for iPhone, iPad, or Mac)
Make sure your device is connected to the MatchBOX_Guest Wi-Fi network
Wake the TV using the remote (if needed)
On your Apple device, open Control Center:
iPhone/iPad: Swipe down from the top-right corner
Mac: Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar
Tap or click "Screen Mirroring"
Select the Apple TV for this meeting room from the list
If prompted, enter the 4-digit code shown on the TV screen
Your screen should now appear on the TV
To disconnect, return to Screen Mirroring and tap "Stop Mirroring."
Using Chromecast (for Android, Windows, or Chrome browser)
Make sure your device is connected to the MatchBOX_Guest Wi-Fi network
Wake the TV using the remote (if needed)
Open a Chromecast-compatible app (Chrome browser, YouTube, Google Slides, etc.)
Look for the Cast icon (a rectangle with Wi-Fi waves in the corner)
Tap or click the Cast icon
Select the Chromecast device for this meeting room from the list
Your content should now appear on the TV
To disconnect, tap the Cast icon again and select "Stop casting."

If you prefer a wired connection or experience issues with wireless, HDMI cables are available in each meeting room.
Locate the HDMI cable near the TV or in the wooden back (alongside paper towels and cleaning spray)
Connect one end to your laptop's HDMI port
Connect the other end to one of the HDMI ports on the TV
Use the TV remote to select the correct HDMI input (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.)
Your laptop screen should now display on the TV
Note: If your laptop doesn't have an HDMI port (common with newer MacBooks and some thin Windows laptops), you may need an adapter. We may have USB-C to HDMI adapters available at the front desk.
-
Can't find the Apple TV or Chromecast? Make sure both your device and the TV are on the same Wi-Fi network (MatchBOX_Guest).
No signal on HDMI? Check that you've selected the correct HDMI input using the TV remote, and ensure the cable is firmly connected at both ends.
Still having issues? Please contact our staff at the front desk or text 765-586-5354 for assistance.
