WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
WHAT IS MBXAX?
The MBXax courses are 6- and 12-week pre-acceleration programs for founders and people with ideas. They’re starting and growing businesses and the program is designed to help them focus, start, grow, and move forward.
MBXAX DESIGN PARTNERS
Some of our MBXax programs include logo development for the business owners who complete the courses. Our design partners connect with the founders once they’ve completed the course. MBX will collect basic information to precede the engagement, but the designer partner will provide the founder with the following:
A consultation call to further establish an understanding of the business
Presentation of 2+ concepts
One round of minor revisions
The completed logo in various file types and variations
Start to finish, we’re looking for a roughly 1 mo timeline
We’ll ask you to include your per-logo rate in your application, but in the past, design partners have invoiced $300-500 / logo for this program.
MBXAX MICROGRANT PARTNERS
MBXax microgrants give course graduates access to funded projects that will help them start or grow their business. The microgrants are awarded as a 50/50 matching grant with service providers and business professionals, We’re looking for service providers who would be willing to work with early stage and growing entrepreneurs to help with projects that are estimated to cost up to $5,000, with up to $2,500 paid for by the program and the remainint $2,500 donated as in-kind work by the service provider and business professional partners.
In the past, funded projects have included building a prototype for a physical product, engagement with a marketing expert to develop a product launch plan, website development, manufacturing development, app development, and packaging design.
recognition OPPORTUNITIES
MatchBOX is a 501c3 non-profit and the cost of the acceleration courses are highly subsidized via fundraising and grants to remain widely accessible, with scholarships available to cover tuition up to 100%.
All design partners and microgrant partners will have the opportunity to display their brand on the MBXax site and on some program-specific marketing materials.
